When you create an account we collect your email address and name. When you use the product we store the resumes, job descriptions, cover letters, and application records you create, so the app can show them back to you and compute your scores.
Your data is used only to provide Skill Vector's features: scoring resumes, generating rewrites and cover letters, and tracking applications. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your resumes to train models.
Some features (career coach, bullet rewriting, cover letters) send the relevant text to AI providers to generate a response. Only the content needed for that request is sent, and it is not used for advertising.
Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Passwords are hashed; traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow standard industry practices.
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising trackers.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile page, or by emailing us. We will remove your data within 30 days of a verified request.
